So named for the nearby bend in the road between Keunmanstadt and Schelling, Eckerstadt is an unassuming town, nevertheless known for the large Eckerbierfestival held here in autumn. The grasslands of the Potoc Plains make an excellent training spot for the light cavalry units of Bruckenfurt.
