A fair ways up the river Roux one finds the town of Bearn. Iron flows from the mines in the Folie mountains and the bogs on the edge of the duchy of Leubock to here, where it is distilled into the finest muskets and rifles in the Empire. With a Bearn musket, anyone may shoot true!

The Imperial Army considers the town of some importance, and the 12th Brigade “Bearn” and the 4th Light Cavalry Brigade are both stationed here.
