For over a thousand years, Donington Heath with its surrounding grasslands has produced the fastest horses known. Together with the nearby princes John of Aprille and Richard III Headlow, prince Klarkov has published the manual for horse breeding, Top Gallop.
A regiment of Pioneers from nearby Fort Fylingdale has helped construct the horse-track used for the Donington Races, an annual event.
