As one of the larger towns on the Vielenfluss Plains, Bridgwen commands an imposing influence on the Lossie river's upstream trade. The plains surrounding it produce the raw materials to make the uniforms of the Imperial Army, most of which have buttons featuring the town's coat of arms. Fort Fylingdale helpfully provides a couple of brigades of the V. Corps for defense, since the walls of the town have been torn down to provide building material for houses.
