Home to the breed of sheep known as Black Betty((immortalised in the song //Oh, Black Betty, the Bamberg Rams//)), Bamberg trades mostly in cloth. The Black Betties produce a very fine and soft fleece, prized for its quality. In recent years, foundries handling ore shipped down from the Folie mountains have begun competing with the cloth trade, as the thick smoke has rendered some of the traditional pastures unusable.

Keeps only a small town guard as garrison.
