Andenloo sits on the mouth of the river Fino and is half sleepy fishing village and half destination for the Imperial Corps der Marineninfanterie from nearby [[forts:Fort Gerisch]] on leave. The contrast between fishermen and marines is most evident as the sun rises and the //pescatores// of Andenloo set out to sea just as the soldiers exit the brothels, inns and taverns.

A regiment of the Marineninfanterie Military Police is permanently garrisoned in the town.
