Use the following command:
```
sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config
``` Open the SSH Configuration File: Use a text editor to open the SSH configuration file. The file is typically located at `/etc/ssh/sshd_config`.

- FTP: Generally faster than SFTP and FTPS due to the lack of encryption overhead. However, the speed advantage comes at the cost of security.
- SFTP: May have slightly slower performance compared to FTP due to encryption, but the difference is often negligible for most users.
- FTPS: Similar to SFTP, FTPS may experience some performance overhead due to encryption, but it can be optimized in certain configurations.

They validate the domain ownership but do not verify the identity of the organization behind the website. Domain Validated (DV) Certificates: These are the most basic type of SSL certificates.

For instance, vulnerabilities in the protocol itself or in the underlying operating system can allow unauthorized access or remote code execution. Exploitation of Vulnerabilities: RDP has a history of vulnerabilities that can be exploited by attackers.

This type of certificate is ideal for businesses looking to establish trust with their customers. They not only validate domain ownership but also verify the organization’s identity. Organization Validated (OV) Certificates: OV certificates provide a higher level of security.

Port 443 is the default port used for HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) traffic, which is the secure version of HTTP. This port is specifically designated for secure web traffic, allowing SSL/TLS protocols to function effectively. When a user enters a URL that begins with "https://", the browser automatically connects to port 443 on the server.

This is especially important for protecting sensitive information such as credit card numbers, personal information, and login credentials. An SSL certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and enables an encrypted connection. It is issued by a Certificate Authority (CA), a trusted third-party organization that verifies the legitimacy of the website requesting the certificate. The primary purpose of an SSL certificate is to ensure that all data transmitted between the web server and the browser remains private and secure.

Network Configuration Changes: Changes in network configuration can also lead to a change in IP address. For instance, if a user switches routers or modifies their network settings, the device may request a new IP address from the DHCP server, resulting in a change.

This fosters trust among users, encouraging them to share sensitive information. Trust and Credibility: Websites with SSL certificates display trust indicators, such as padlock icons in the browser address bar.

Its ease of use and functionality make it a popular choice for managing servers and desktops. However, the very features that make RDP appealing also expose it to various security threats. RDP is widely used by IT professionals, system administrators, and remote workers, as it enables full desktop access and control over remote machines.

Extended Validation (EV) Certificates: EV certificates offer the highest level of authentication. Websites using EV certificates display a green address bar in the browser, indicating a high level of trust. They require a rigorous validation process, including verification of the organization’s legal, physical, and operational existence.

Consider Remote Desktop Gateways: Using Remote Desktop Gateways can provide an additional layer of security by encrypting RDP traffic and requiring authentication before users can access remote desktops.

When selecting a new check port ([[http://dajifen.com/comment/html/?108784.html|http://dajifen.com/comment/html/?108784.html]]) number, it's essential to choose a number that is not in use by other services. For example, using port 2222 or 2200 can be a good choice. Ports above 1024 are generally recommended, as ports below this range are often reserved for well-known services.

A dynamic IP address is one that changes periodically and is assigned by a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. Most residential internet users are assigned dynamic IP addresses by their Internet Service Provider (ISP). IP addresses can be categorized as dynamic or static. In contrast, a static IP address remains constant and is typically used by businesses or individuals who require a permanent address for hosting websites or services.

SSH is a protocol used to securely connect to remote servers and devices. By default, SSH listens on port 22, which makes it a common target for automated attacks and brute-force attempts. Cybercriminals often scan networks for devices with open ports, and since port 22 is widely known, it becomes a prime target for unauthorized access.

SFTP operates over a single connection, typically using port 22, which simplifies firewall configurations. SFTP is an extension of the Secure Shell (SSH) protocol, providing a secure method for file transfer. Unlike FTP, which transmits data in plain text, SFTP encrypts the entire session, ensuring that sensitive information is protected from eavesdropping.(Image: [[https://drscdn.500px.org/photo/251296113/m3D1/v2?sig=f2e3c12d9873ac5d48bf7baed552f8f9553c3338e45ca6d7273e21ac19e9fd3c|https://drscdn.500px.org/photo/251296113/m3D1/v2?sig=f2e3c12d9873ac5d48bf7baed552f8f9553c3338e45ca6d7273e21ac19e9fd3c]])
