A minor trading hub in the Heartlands, while [[cities:shandarsher|Shandarsher]] is the main trading destination
some merchants are instead based in and around Fente since it is within reasonable sailing distance and the
commercial rents are much lower on the seafront.

In addition it has long protected beachfront that allows Fente to operate as a seaside resort for nobles
and rich burghers frequent during the summer months to drink gin and gossip.
